Managing Phone Numbers

Configure settings, enable voicemail, and cancel numbers.

Viewing Your Numbers

Go to Phone Numbers in the navigation to see all your numbers with status and billing info.

Number Status

  • Active — Working normally
  • Suspended — Payment failed; update your card
  • Released — Canceled and gone

Voicemail Settings

Configure voicemail in Settings:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Find your phone number
  3. Adjust:
    • Voicemail enabled — On/off
    • Email notifications — Get transcription via email
    • Greeting text — Custom message (max 500 characters)
  4. Click Save

Custom Greeting

Enter text and it's converted to natural-sounding speech.

Example:

"Hi, you've reached [Name]. Leave a message and I'll call you back."

Keep it short. Callers appreciate getting to the beep quickly.

Email Notifications

Turn on to receive an email when you get a voicemail:

  • Caller's number
  • When they called
  • Full transcription

Canceling a Number

  1. Go to Phone Numbers
  2. Click Cancel next to the number
  3. Confirm

Permanent

The number is released immediately. You cannot recover it.

FAQ

How many numbers can I have? No limit.

Can I transfer a number to someone else? No.

What happens to voicemails if I cancel? Old voicemails stay. New calls won't reach you.

Can I pause instead of cancel? Not yet.
