Getting Started
Do I need to install anything?
No. CallerBooth runs entirely in your browser. Just sign in and start calling. Works on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on both desktop and mobile.
How do I make my first call?
- Sign in with your Google account
- Buy a phone number (required for outbound calls)
- Add credits to your balance (minimum $5)
- Enter a phone number and click the call button

Can I use CallerBooth on mobile?
Yes. CallerBooth works on any device with a modern browser - iPhone, Android, iPad, tablets, and laptops. No app installation required.
Credits & Billing
How do credits work?
You buy credit packs ($5, $10, $25, or $50). Calls deduct from your balance at per-minute rates. **Credits never expire. **
Are incoming calls free?
Yes. Incoming calls are completely free. You only pay for outbound calls based on the destination.
What are the call rates?
Rates start at $0.02/min for US calls. Check our rate calculator for specific destinations.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Phone Numbers
Can I get a phone number?
Yes. You can buy local numbers in the US and Canada starting at $1.95/month. Use them for caller ID or to receive calls.
Do I need a phone number to make calls?
Yes. You need at least one CallerBooth phone number to make outbound calls. Your number is shown as the caller ID to the person you're calling.
What happens if I cancel my number subscription?
Phone numbers are billed monthly through Stripe. If you cancel, the number remains active until the end of your billing period, then it's released and may be assigned to someone else.
Voicemail
What is smart voicemail?
When you miss a call, CallerBooth automatically records a voicemail and transcribes it using AI. You can enable email notifications in Settings to receive the transcription in your inbox.
Is voicemail included for free?
Yes. Smart voicemail with AI transcription is included with all CallerBooth numbers at no extra cost.
Can I customize my voicemail greeting?
Yes. Go to Settings > Phone Numbers, click on your number, and enter a custom greeting message. We'll convert it to speech using AI.
Call Quality
What about call quality?
We use Twilio's global network for carrier-grade quality. Calls are encrypted and routed through the nearest data center.
My calls are choppy or dropping. What should I do?
- Check your internet connection speed (we recommend at least 1 Mbps)
- Close other bandwidth-heavy applications
- Try switching to a wired connection instead of WiFi

Account & Security
How do I reset my password?
If you signed in with Google, your password is managed by Google. If you use email login, go to Settings > Security and click "Reset Password."
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Contact us at hello@callerbooth.com and we'll delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All calls are encrypted in transit. We don't record your calls (except voicemails you receive). Your data is stored securely and never sold to third parties.
