Making Your First Call
A step-by-step walkthrough.
Free Trial Call
New users get one free call to test the service before purchasing. Just sign up, allow microphone access, and dial any number. Your call will show as coming from a shared CallerBooth number.
After your free call, get a phone number to continue making and receiving calls.
Starter Bundle
The Starter Bundle ($6.95) is the easiest way to get started — includes a phone number plus $5 in calling credits.
Before You Start (After Trial)
You need:
- An account
- At least $2 balance
- A phone number

Step 1: Open the Dialer
Go to Home. The dialer is on this page.
Step 2: Enter the Number
Type or paste the number you want to call. Include the country code:
- US/Canada: +1 555 123 4567
- UK: +44 20 1234 5678
- Other: Use the appropriate country code
Step 3: Select Caller ID
If you have multiple numbers, pick which one shows on the recipient's phone.
Step 4: Call
Click the green Call button.
Step 5: Allow Microphone
Your browser will ask for microphone access. Click Allow.
WARNING
If you deny microphone access, you can't make calls. See permissions to fix.
During the Call
- Mute — Click the microphone icon
- Hang up — Click the red phone icon
- Call duration shows on screen
After the Call
- Cost deducted from balance
- Call appears in history
- Balance updates
Tips for Good Audio
- Use headphones (prevents echo)
- Close other tabs using your mic
- Use WiFi or wired connection
- Find a quiet spot
