How Billing Works
CallerBooth uses pay-as-you-go billing for calls. No subscriptions for calling credits - just top up when you need to.
The Basics
- Add money, make calls — Top up your balance, use it for calls

Getting Started
New users: The Starter Bundle is the easiest way to begin — a phone number plus $5 credits for $6.95.
Trying it out: Make one free call before buying anything to test audio quality.

Your Balance
Your balance shows in the header. Click it to add more.
Minimum Balance for Calls
You need $2.00 to start an outbound call. This ensures calls don't cut off mid-conversation.
How Calls Are Billed
- Duration rounds up to the nearest minute
- Rate depends on destination (country, mobile vs landline)
- Cost deducted when call ends
- Transaction logged in your history
Example: 2 minutes 30 seconds to the US = 3 minutes × $0.02 = $0.06
Balance Never Expires
Unlike some services, your CallerBooth balance never expires.
Transaction History
Go to Settings → Transaction History to see purchases and call charges.
Phone Number Billing
Phone numbers are billed separately:
- Monthly subscription via Stripe
- Charged to your card (not from balance)
- Cancel anytime
FAQ
What if I run out mid-call? You can't. The $2 minimum prevents this.
Can I transfer balance to another account? No.
